I have the stock Xbox hard drive and found DVD2Xbox to be a miracle since I have a huge hard disk on my computer, and it says you can rip directly to your PC.
My question was on configuring the XML file. It says in the FAQ you have to go to two different tabs in XP to set the correct permissions/access rights? Could someone please clarify this? What I did was create a user in XP and created a new shared folder called 'xbox'. Then I entered the username and password in the XML file like it says. I also disabled the firewall on my PC. Guest access is also on, so I tried doing it without a username and password as well. What's next? Network settings in DVD2Xbox are enabled and I can connect through FTP to my Xbox from my computer when I'm in DVD2Xbox.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong? Maybe my workgroup name is different? If so, how can I find out what it is in XP?
