| Im a newb to modding i have a dvd2xbox .0.5.3 and when i get to this spot in kotor the screen goes black instead of loading do i need a patch? |

| Sorry but I can only answer dvd2xbox related stuff. I don't own the game and haven't tested it yet. First of all get the newest version of dvd2xbox (0.6.1) and then have a look in the related forum at xbox-scene.com |

| Yes same problem here. Once the little droid gets blasted it goes black. I put my disc in and loaded off the CD and it worked fine, so it's something with having an issue loading off the HDD. |

Yes, same problem here as well. On the computer, open a door with the droid on Pergasus then log off computer, big ion blast and droid is dissabled. Screen goes black. Stuffed. Can pause game but definately a problem. if i save game, then load, it is back to my main character but its still in the same room as the droid but there is no exit. So can't play off hdd, cd does get passed this.
I'm sure some guru out there can snap his/her fingers and creat a patch for us?!?!?!? |

the only solution that worked for me was on xbox scene using telnet in the game with your computer.

| you can get past it by using a disk to get past that point the you can continue the game. The disk can even be a copy. It is the only point in the game that has this issue. I believe this is a copy protection scheme. |
