| When I try to load any version of DVD 2 Xbox newer then 6.1 after a fresh intall, it hangs when it says "loading partitions". I deleted the gamesave via m$ Dash. Help! |

I just a bigger hard drive put into my modded xbox. Now it hangs on "loading partitions" screen. I followed the above link and turned off the auto detect in the xbox settings, and deleted the dvd2xbox in saved games. But still wont go. :(
Please help, it would be greatly appreciated :?: |

Where does it hang now? What does the status line show?
Do you use the newest version? |

Thanks for the really quick reply. I got the same guy that I got my xbox modded to put in the bigger HDD. Im not sure what version I have, is there an easy way to tell?
When I click on apps, dvd2xbox it switches to the dvd2xbox logo and "loading configs" and thats where it stays. |

I just noticed I said "partitions" in the 1st post and "loading configs" in the 2nd post. Its definetely "loading configs". I was just reading another forum and typed that by mistake.

The version is shown when dvd2xbox is loaded :?
A crash during loading configs could be a broken dv2xbox.xml file not sure. It's the best to ask the guy who implement the hdd for you and ask him to update to the newest version 8)
I'll leave home now so no new answer from me until Monday. |
