Using version 0.6.6 (haven't tried with newer yet) I tried to copy a dvd with files on it to a smb share on a pc. The files were copied by dvd2xbox to a dvd2xbox_iso folder on the smb share.

All files seemed to transfer ok but I then noticed that MD5-hash had changed on all files. Opening a transferred text-file it seems there is alot of WS-characters added at the end of the file. I then tried transferring the files by not using dvd2xbox (ftp-ed them over from the xbox) and then all files were ok, so apparently dvd2xbox somehow damages the files being transferred.

As what was the DVD recognized (bottom line)? Never noticed this behaviour but I only copied CDs/iso and DVD/xbox so far.

The bottom line said DVD: ISO

It was a DVD+RW disc burned in NERO in usual compilation/iso-mode.
