Hi,
I just got my X-Box with a 120 GB HDD in it and so I'm quite new to all that stuff. So I got my "FABLE" (german version, I'm german you see) and copied it to my Box, also "Tenchu". Both worked just fine.
Today my copy of "Stubbs the Zombie" arrived (US Version since it wasn't released here). I wanted to copy it with dvd2xbox and it worked just fine, but it had no sound.
1) is that due to Stubbs' copy protection or did I just make a mistake
2) now my FABLE won't react to the controller anymore! I don't know why, I can return to the Evo-X menu (with pressing Start + Back + Black + White), but the game itself - uh-uh. Why? And more important - how can I fix that again?
Please help me, like I said I'm new to this and everything worked just fine for a week... until today.
"Tenchu" is working just fine, by the way. It is also the german version.

Sounds odd to me. Can't tell you why Fable doesn't respond anymore but I saw a lot of posts which recommend to use other dashes like evo-x. I used it also a long time and had never problems with it but I'm now stuck to XBMC (german pal box set to ntsc).
For Stubbs you could try to set your eeprom to ntsc and see if it makes any difference. Also head over to X-S or to the german forum modcontrol or evo-x to ask for help in the game specific threads. |

I also have a thread in both of those forums, but thanks for the hint :)
I already switched the X-Box to NTSC, but it didn't work either. In the Evo-X Forums someone said it is due to the copy-protection, so the thing is through for me. I don't have the time at the moment to look for a HDD fix or something like that, which most likely exists somewhere out there... plus, if I have one game that I can't play from my HDD, it's not the end of the world. ;)
The problem with Fable is much more annoying for me :?
EDIT: I dunno if it's important, but I use Version 0.7.7 |
